These 5' tall magnetic dry erase boards make the perfect alternative to expensive full-height dry erase walls. If you mount our 5' tall dry erase boards 30" from the floor that will place the bottom of the boards at table top. The tops of the boards will be 7 1/2' up on the wall and that is about a high as a 6' tall person can reach. This means that you are using 100% of your boards. You can see all the way to the bottom of the boards and write all the way to the top of the boards.
When you mount our 5' tall dry erase boards 30" from the floor you will not interfere with any phone, electrical or internet connection boxes on that wall like you would when you mount a full-height wall.
These 5' tall whiteboards have a porcelain enamel steel writing surface laminated to 1/2" fiberboard core with a moisture barrier backing factory laminated at the rear of the panel to make for a true balanced whiteboard panel.
If you want to use the dry erase boards for projection purposes then this
will work, our 5' Tall boards are considered a mid-gloss. Mid Gloss boards are
considered suitable for projection, depending on the projection circumstances
you may encounter glare or hotspots on the projected image. Things that can
cause this are projector type, projection angle, ambient light and seating
angle. However these boards erase far better than a low gloss board and they
project much better than the High gloss boards so it is the best of both worlds.
If you are not going to write on the projection being shown onto the whiteboard then we always recommend installing a projection screen instead. This will give you a better erasing whiteboard and a cleaner, crisper image.
High gloss dry erase boards will always erase better than a low gloss dry erase board. The low gloss boards will also require more frequent cleaning and maintenance than a high gloss board. If you were considering a low gloss board because it might be neat to be able to project onto your boards if you wanted to but it really isn't needed then get a high gloss instead.
The Mid Gloss aluminum framed dry erase boards come with 1" C-4
aluminum trim on three sides and a 2-3/4" full-length pen tray with 3/4" radius
corners for added safety.
The Deluxe Oak Framed dry erase boards have the same mid gloss writing surface but a unsurpassed 2" CW-1 Red Oak Trim with mitered corners on three sides and full-length 2-3/4" red oak pen tray standard. The trim and tray on these markerboards come with a clear lacquer finish.
The Maple framed markerboards are beautiful and they should ship from the factory in about 15 working days. The MH00 Series markerboards are made custom for OptiMA Inc. so they are not returnable.
The Mahogany framed markerboards are a solid oak wood stained in a rich mahogany finish. As with all of our dry erase boards, they will ship with a full-length marker tray. These boards are custom made for OptiMA Inc. and are not returnable. They should take about 15 working days as well to ship from the factory.
All of the 5' x 5' through the 5' x 12' markerboards are single continuous dry erase writing surfaces and shipped as one piece.
The 5' x 16' board can be shipped as a single piece or in two 8' sections connected with an H-Bar. The 5' x 20' marker boards are shipped as (2) two pieces because of additional weight, hanging and shipping concerns. The 5' x 24' is shipped as (3) three pieces for the same reasons. All sections will be connected with a white painted H-Bar.
These 5' tall dry erase boards are large... make sure that they will fit into your building, down the halls and into the room where you need them before you order them.
5' tall dry erase boards are custom units and not returnable.
If your order comes to you by truck you have to open and inspect your order regardless of what the outside of the carton may look like. Large objects like these can be damaged during transit and it is your responsibility to inspect your shipment on arrival. We will replace any damaged product free of charge if it is signed for as damaged upon arrival.
*If your order must ship by truck we have a shipping fee of $100.00 within the continental U.S. to your loading docks or curb side. If your board order is over $850 then you will only be charged a flat fee of $45. There is a service charge of $35.00 for "Call Ahead" service. Custom orders and graphics orders are not included in our free shipping program.
